  • Dr. Marina (Nina) von Keyserlingk named new Director of the National Farmed Animal Health and Welfare (NFAHW) Council Board

    She is recognized as a leader in Animal Welfare, and will take over from outgoing Director, Dr. David Fraser.

    Professor Emeritus and founding director of the UBC Dairy Education and Research Centre received the BC Dairy Industry Achievement Award from the BC Dairy Historical Society.

  • Professor Marina von Keyserlingk recognized by the Hans Sigrist Foundation

    von Keyserlingk was recognized for her outstanding academic contributions in the field of Sustainably Produced Food of Animal Origin.

Mission

The Dairy Education and Research Centre and its scientists provide educational opportunities for Canadian and international scientists and students from universities, colleges, schools, and industries as well as for the general public. Since 1998 more than 200 individuals from over 35 different countries have received training at the Centre.
